So Yummy!

These were the cutest little treats! I found them at Target. I hope they start making them for all the holidays because they are so handy and good! They are so easy and look so cute for a party or whatever. And they were DELICIOUS. Like straight from a bakery.

Raspberry Blush Vinegar

I'm obsessed with this vinegar. It is so yummy! All I do is sprinkle it on lettuce. Nothing else needed. :) I just saw on their website that they make a pear vinegar too. Mmmmm... I wonder how that is?

Vintage Halloween Coloring Book - by Little Golden

This is the cutest coloring book ever. I found one at Barnes & Noble, but you can find it online at Amazon and other places. It is over-sized with heavy, nice paper. The front cover is flocked and the pages are vintage coloring pictures and activities with splashes of orange. So cute!

Doggie Tag

Look at the cute doggie tag that I just bought for Brinkley from Happy Tags on Etsy. I love it!

Cake Bunting = Cutest Thing Ever

My sister found this cake bunting idea so I snatched it from her blog. Isn't it the cutest idea ever!? I might even have to force myself to bake a layered cake from scratch just so I can put a little bunting on it.

Halloween Paper Lanterns

These are pretty cute. I wish the bird was a bat. And the skull could be better. But they are so inexpensive. Only 7.99. They would be pretty cute hanging over my kitchen table for our annual Halloween chili dinner. I think I may have to get them!

Click HERE to get some of your own or just run down to Party City to save on shipping. :)

Who knew?

It is amazing to me how something simple can become an obsession with kids. The other day our neighbor girls gave Parker these little animal shaped rubber band bracelets. I thought they were some junky toy that they got for free at Chuck-E-Cheese or something. And to be honest - I think I threw them away.

Then today Demi came in from outside and ran upstairs. A few minutes later she came down with a handful of stuff that she wanted to trade for some zanybandz.

Ooohhhhh... Those little pieces of junk that I threw away were the new hot thing. Think beanie babies or pogs. Or back in my day - printed shoelaces. Lol. Remember those!?

So Demi and Parker ran outside to trade things for Zanybandz and I stayed inside looking them up on the computer. Wow. They are crazy hot right now. Most sites I went to were sold out. And then I stumbled across this article that explained a bit about them.

I used to be so on top of this stuff when I taught. Now I am just a boring mom. :(

...Too bad I am not just a boring mom who just happened to invent some ridiculously simple animal shaped rubber band bracelets that end up making me a gazillion bucks.

Araya - Venezuelan Chocolate

I just thought this was cool. It was on the home page of chron.com this morning. First - I think the chocolates are so cool. They are so pretty & unique and the packaging is neat. And second - the article explaining on how they chose Houston as the city to open their chocolatier is both interesting and encouraging.

Click HERE to visit Araya Artisan Chocolate. I'd love to know what these bad boys cost a piece. Lol.

PetitPlat on Etsy

I have been meaning to post this for awhile and keep forgetting. I saw it on my sister's blog. It is one of the cutest Etsy shops that I have seen. Click HERE to visit PetitPlat. How fun & creative! I'm really not sure what purpose it serves other then to just be darling.

She also makes her tiny food into jewelry. The cupcake earrings are the cutest!

Or if you prefer - a nice salmon steak...

Charming Charlie

I have been to Charming Charlie once before but I just ran in and out and didn't really fully appreciate the wonder. Until tonight. It is really the coolest store! It is an accessory store - for those of you that don't have one by you. And it has the best selection of stuff I have ever seen. It is all organized by color and theme. And they are huge stores. If you need any type of accessory at all - purses, jewelry, hair stuff, sunglasses, etc. - then you can find it here. If you dream up the perfect earing or necklace or ring in your mind to match an outfit then chances are they will have it. It is unbelievable. And CHEAP! They started in Houston in 2004 but are quickly spreading all over the country. They are in 9 states right now, mostly in the south, but are opening in Arizona, Maryland and Illinois soon.

So keep an eye out. If you happen to see one opening in your city then be excited and do a little dance!

And Megan - again I am sorry that you live in Canada. :( Because tonight I saw the cutest cameo ring EVER for only 8 bucks. It totally reminded me of you. If I was a good sister then I would go back and get it for you and spend 3x that amount to send it to you internationally. LOL.

Bad Ass Candles {and website}

These have got to be the coolest & most beautiful candles I have ever seen. And I can only imagine how good they smell. And if I had some of these candles then I would use the containers forever after the candle was all gone. And my birthday is in less then a month. Just sayin'.

Left Center Right Dice Game

Click HERE to check out this new game that I just bought at Target. It is supposed to be SO FUN! I was thinking of starting a Bunco group and then somebody told me that they have started playing this game in their group and they love it. You can play with the chips, with little candy or prizes or with money. ;)

When you go to the link you can check out the reviews. Everyone loves it and says it is great for kids and adults - so the whole family has fun! I have been wanting to get it for a long time but during Christmas it was sold out.

I can't wait to play it!

Ginormous Curly Ribbon... I Love It!

I LOVE these huge curly ribbon 'bows'! I've only found them at Target in a couple of colors. I hope they start making/selling more of them...

They have the best little inventions now...

I made the yummiest salad with dinner last night. I saw these great new packs in the produce section. They are designed to use with a bag of lettuce. It made a quick, easy, pretty & delicious salad. Especially if you need to put one together in a pinch! I got a bag of Butter & Red Leaf lettuce, used the Blue Cheese Salad Finisher and used Marie's Blue Cheese Vinaigrette.

And one more great quick and easy product...

I don't know if you have tried these before, but the Pork Roast Au Jus is our favorite. It is delicious for a very quick meal with a side and a salad. And trust me. Even though it looks a little scary. It is like real and 'fresh' meat! LOL.

And wait! One MORE quick idea...

These are the best 'instant' potatoes that I have had. Especially if you put your own twist on them... (like 'loaded' mashed potatoes with bacon, cheese and scallions mixed in). They are Ore-Ida Steam n' Mash. They also come in different flavors and they even make sweet potatoes.

Cool & Easy Photo Editing Site!

This is a really cool website - especially if you do not have photo editing software. There are lots of quick little tools to easily edit your photos. I converted the photo above to black and white in about 60 seconds. It is a photo of us in California a couple of years ago.

You can also click HERE to visit Phixr. It is another similar site, although I seem to like Pixenate a little better.

My new favorite blog background site!

Here is another super talented person who shares her darling stuff for free! I LOVE it all! So much that her stuff finally motivated me to put a background on my blog. :)

Click HERE to visit the Shabby Blogs Site and click HERE to visit the Shabby Blogs Blog. Both have great downloads and information.

I also put a direct link button to her blog on the bottom of the right column on my blog for easy access. Enjoy!

I can't believe the super talented people there are out there. And then on top of it to share their creations for free! It is so great!

Click HERE to check out Kevin&Amanda.com. Once you click on this link you will see there are 2 links on the page. One link is for free 'handwriting fonts' and the other link is for free 'scrapbooking fonts'. They are all great! And actually, all of this girls sites are darling, so if you want to check out her other stuff (her personal blog, her recipe blog, her scrapbooking blog) then click HERE to start at her blog 'homepage'.
