Doogie Howser is all growd' up!

I may be a little late to the game - but can I just say how much I dig Neil Patrick Harris. I really never knew how cool he was. He was fantastic on American Idol last night! Large and in charge. Compassionate and sensitive. Assertive. Funny. Sexy.

Like I said. I dig him!

Glambert

I understand it is campy on purpose but it still scares me a little bit. Lol. It just seems kinda weird to have a old school David Bowie type or an alive Freddie Mercury type kickin' it in present day. I guess I have to just appreciate his attempt to bring it back. If there is anyone who can pull it off it would be him. I kinda think he is brilliant. Sort of like a savant that way.

Here is a close-up for you... In all his glory...

I CAN'T WAIT to hear it!

Adam Lambert

My boy is back in the limelight. He has a new single out, he is on the cover of Details magazine this month and his new album is about to drop.

I think he is about to blow up. I have a feeling we are getting ready to start seeing a TON of him! I hope he doesn't disappoint. You never really know if their AI persona is the real deal. I'm beginning to realize that it was a REALLY tame version of himself. :)

Ellen the New American Idol Judge

I LOVE it! What a great move AI! She is HILARIOUS and will give a great 'laypersons' point of view. It will definitely keep me watching next season! It is the trickiest and most unexpected move I could have imagined!

Ex-Idol contestant struck, killed by car in N.J.

How sad. Who can forget this woman? When I read the link to the article I clicked it to see the picture, thinking that there are thousands and thousands of former contestants, so it probably wouldn't ring a bell for me. Then I saw her picture. It is interesting that a person's brief 15 minutes of fame can leave such a lasting impression. Of course you have to be an American Idol fan to remember this woman... She was a character for sure!

Below is a photo of her that I found without all the glitter and craziness. She looks really cute. Apparently it was on her MySpace page. The other interesting thing to me is that she seemed alot older then she really was. She was only 23 when she first auditioned in the picture above.

He's just keepin' it real!

In his Rolling Stone cover story, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert admitted he'd been crushing on his roommate in the Idol mansion, Kris Allen.

"I was like, 'Oh, s---, they put me with the cute guy ... Distracting!" Lambert told the magazine. "He's the one guy that I found attractive in the whole group on the show ... totally my type – except that he has a wife."

Allen's response? "I'm flattered," the Idol winner tells PEOPLE exclusively, "And think it's hilarious."

The duo will have plenty of time to laugh over their missed chance at bromance this summer: Allen, Lambert and the other eight finalists from the show's top ten will hit the road on a 52-date tour starting July 5 in Portland, Ore.

I think Freddie Mercury would be proud...

Freddie Mercury is one of my all time favorite voices in music, so I guess it is no surprise that I heart Adam. When Queen was on American Idol I told Robert that I thought Queen should have Adam tour with them and they could make a bizillion dollars. I can't think of one person other then Adam who could take Freddie Mercury's place. And now it could be coming true! Yea! I would give anything to see them! Click HERE to read a bit about it.

my poor big gay rocker :(

He could go out on tour tomorrow with KISS or Queen and stadiums would sell out all over the country. He is absolutely amazing. Like Paula has said so many times this season, he is already an icon.

Hurry up and get some music out Adam! I'm waiting!

K. I did my part.

I just texted my vote in for my boy Adam. I had 2 firsts tonight. First time watching it live with everyone else and the first time I have voted. I just couldn't sit around and do nothing! :)

And by the way... Kara's song... L-A-M-E!

Goodbye Alison :(

After Adam, Alison was my very favorite. It is such a shame that she went. So sad. But I have a feeling she is going to be huge. And I just LOVE these 2 together...

They are so darling!

I've noticed the last few weeks that he is always touching her or has his hands on her shoulders. It's like he is protective of her or something. And then when she said she went to his 'hair girl'. It cracked me up! He probably picked out her outfits for rock night too. And I was SO mad - but it cut off again when they were talking about doing a song/album together. When will I ever learn to tape the show after Idol too!? I laughed so hard when Adam said that he was waiting for rock night and was so excited to sing Led Zeppelin, and that BONUS - he loved his outfit too! So funny. He's just keepin' it real! That is what I love about him! If I was a gay guy - I would be all over him! And I kept waiting for them to pan to him when Alison was singing her farewell song to see him crying but my DVR cut off yet again. It's almost like he is secretly NOT 'batting for the other team' so to speak. Maybe she will make him come back to the other side and they can have cute little rocker kids together.

And can I just say that Slash is so rad. I love him too. I just love everybody tonight. Everybody but Danny and Chris that is. ;0

'Mad World' re-arranger praises Adam Lambert

Of course he did! I am looking him up on iTunes right now.

American Idol = Money.

I'd be pretty excited if my arrangemnet was used! Click HERE to read this really interesting article.

Have all you haters come around yet!?

"...And, finally, well past the top of the hour, which might have caused some people to miss it, Adam Lambert, born in 1982, chose Tears for Fears' "Mad World." Only, in keeping with his David Cook-like desire to perform unusual twists on songs, he performed it as sung by Gary Jules in the cult flick "Donnie Darko." Seated center stage, bathed in an otherworldly blue spotlight and singing only in his keening falsetto, Lambert stopped the clocks by performing the already dramatic song with perfectly executed stagecraft and hitting a spine-tingling high note at the end. As he has almost every week, Lambert found a way to take a song and make it an event. Due to time constraints (and seemingly also because of the sheer power of the performance), Simon was the only judge to speak, and he simply gave Lambert a standing ovation. 'Nuff said."
I heart him. When you decided you heart him to, just remember who hearted him from the VERY beginning. 'Nuff said.

I Love This Guy!

He did it again. He TOTALLY hit it out of the park! I love him more and more every week - and I loved him from the start!

And my second...

If these 2 are not the final two then I will be SO disappointed!

American Idol Quote of the Day & Other Stuff

Randy Jackson... And this is word for word...
“And I was like. Wowwww… Tender moment's from my dawg Chris. Who knew? Who knew? A tender dog. Tender moments from a tender dawg… You ARE a tender dog. Yeah… Yeah.”
And then Simon comes in with…
"He’s a tender puppy.”
Funny stuff. Funny stuff.

Parker asked me today 'why that guy always wears the same shirt'. I'd like to know why too. And while we are on it... Why does he wear his hair that way? I think we all know who we're talking about...And for all you haters out there... I'm still standing by my boy Adam Lambert.Yes. His performance this week was a bit freaky. And yes. He looks a bit too longingly into the camera. And yes. He himself is in fact generally creepy. But for some reason I love him! It works! And have you noticed how big he is? It's kinda weird. Anytime he stands next to someone. It's not just that he is tall. It is like he is abnormally disproportionate. Like he is a giant caricature with a big head or something. And lets face facts. He is not nearly as creepy as this guy...Forget Adam Lambert! Why does HE wear his hair like THIS?

And I CAN'T BELEIVE that these 2 were in the bottom three. It just goes to show that you never know who America votes for. I think they both are great. Especially the red head. She is darling and has, I think, probably my favorite voice of the season.

This is the last time I wait until the next day to watch 2 episodes from the dvr. As much as I try to not watch the news or listen to the radio, I always find out who got eliminated. And then by the time I watch it's old news. It's not gonna happen again because it is getting more exciting from hear-on-out!

It's on like Donkey Kong!

Adam Lambert is def my favorite! Although I do like the girl with the pink in her hair and Megan w/ the tattoo sleeve.

But Adam Lambert... that was hot dawg!

And two quick notes... I hope pink-in-her-hair girl doesn't get screwed because of the phone number fiasco last night. I feel a controversy brewing. And does anyone else think the American Idol site sucks this time. Last season it was so user friendly and nice.
