Like I said. I dig him!
In his Rolling Stone cover story, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert admitted he'd been crushing on his roommate in the Idol mansion, Kris Allen.{people.com}
"I was like, 'Oh, s---, they put me with the cute guy ... Distracting!" Lambert told the magazine. "He's the one guy that I found attractive in the whole group on the show ... totally my type – except that he has a wife."
Allen's response? "I'm flattered," the Idol winner tells PEOPLE exclusively, "And think it's hilarious."
The duo will have plenty of time to laugh over their missed chance at bromance this summer: Allen, Lambert and the other eight finalists from the show's top ten will hit the road on a 52-date tour starting July 5 in Portland, Ore.
"...And, finally, well past the top of the hour, which might have caused some people to miss it, Adam Lambert, born in 1982, chose Tears for Fears' "Mad World." Only, in keeping with his David Cook-like desire to perform unusual twists on songs, he performed it as sung by Gary Jules in the cult flick "Donnie Darko." Seated center stage, bathed in an otherworldly blue spotlight and singing only in his keening falsetto, Lambert stopped the clocks by performing the already dramatic song with perfectly executed stagecraft and hitting a spine-tingling high note at the end. As he has almost every week, Lambert found a way to take a song and make it an event. Due to time constraints (and seemingly also because of the sheer power of the performance), Simon was the only judge to speak, and he simply gave Lambert a standing ovation. 'Nuff said."I heart him. When you decided you heart him to, just remember who hearted him from the VERY beginning. 'Nuff said.
“And I was like. Wowwww… Tender moment's from my dawg Chris. Who knew? Who knew? A tender dog. Tender moments from a tender dawg… You ARE a tender dog. Yeah… Yeah.”And then Simon comes in with…
"He’s a tender puppy.”Funny stuff. Funny stuff.
