Supercross 2011

Robert wanted to take Parker to Supercross for a special bday treat. They had such a great time. They got there early and where able to watch them get the track ready and they got to walk around in the pits and stuff.

They ate some yummy chicken nachos and had a soda..

The even snatched a pic of Bubba Stewart.

Parker is still a sensitive guy. He was a little hesitant about the fireworks. ;)

They had a great time!

Daddy's Birthday

Robert's b-day was this month, but since it is so close after Parker's he kinda gets the shaft. Not that he wouldn't anyway. He is an adult after all.

All he wanted was a cake made out of a box w/ some sort of tub-o-frosting. So I made one at midnight and the next morning, right before work and school, crazy bed hair and all...

...we made daddy light his own candels and we sang to him!

And had a little piece of cake and some milk for breakfast...

Happy Birthday Daddy! Sorry birthdays aren't very fun anymore. :)

3 Generations

Robert's dad - Bob - is in town from Kansas so I was able to snap a pic of the 3 generations. :)

Note to Robert...

...in case you ever need to flee the country.

This fella was obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed! Lol.

Robert watching iCarly on Nickelodeon

You heard me right. The kids are outside playing and Robert walked in, sat down and started watching iCarly. Lol. And that show is so lame. If you wanna watch a tween show then at least go for Wizards of Waverly Place. Those kids are hilarious!

Robert decided he needed to regulate...

Uuu huuhhh. Right. That lasted all about 10 minutes until he texted me from the other room to tell my Carson had peed all over. Huh. I guess its not so easy after all! :)

Ok. I'll start from the beginning...

Robert was home sick from work the other day and after he started feeling better I saw that he was in the bathroom with Carson having a little man to man talk with him. They were in there for like 20 minutes. And I was cracking up. I'm sure Robert thought that he could just be home for 1 day and solve all of Carson's potty problems...

It didn't take long for Carson to go through 3 pairs of underwear and several pairs of shorts...

Robert gave up within about 2 hours.

But thanks for trying daddy! Good effort!

Destination Petco

The kiddos have been obsessed with pets lately. They started out with wanting a puppy until I made it clear that we would not be getting a dog until we were all done having babies in our house. So then they quickly moved on to other animals...

Parker wanted to check out the reptiles and confirm that he still wanted a snake. He looked at tarantulas, scorpions, frogs, lizards and 3 kinds of snakes. He is still desperate for a python or boa constrictor. Nope. Not gonna happen. We are starting smaller then that. And after mommy researches a little bit more - maybe a garter snake will come his way. Only time will tell. :)

Carson was in heaven because he had his very own shopping cart to push around. Of course he needed something in it to push around - so I had to put my purse in it and keep making sure he didn't leave his cart somewhere. He was most interested in the fish and the stinky puppies that they were trying to find homes for.

And if I could make a suggestion to the peeps at Petco trying to place these doggies... Clean up the pee that is all over the floor and spray a whole lotta Febreze everywhere!! Maybe someone will actually want to take one home then!

Here is Demi scoping out the parakeet and cage situation. She decided she wants a light blue bird and a pink and white cage. I am trying to convince her to get the white cage that I want because it will match the decorating in her room better. :) Is that bad? Stifling her creativity and her decision making abilities like that? Oh well. I am still gonna work on her. Or maybe I will just buy it and bring it home. She might learn to love it one day as much as I do. :)

Quotes of the Day

Robert
"Mommy. We gotta turn it up. That’s how we rock."
(explaining to me why the kids and him are turning the tv up loud)

Demi
"Yeah Hil. We're gonna rock. That’s how we roll."

--------

Parker
"Mom. I want my pancakes stacked up. Like 2 on top of each other. Not just one at a time. And I want one of those little square things on it."
(aka - butter)

--------

Parker
"Mom. If we have a hurricane and you see a little animal out there, will you save it and let it rest on our porch or in the garage?"

"Thank ya. Thank ya very much..."

Tonight Carson ran downstairs wearing this...

Robert and I started cracking up. Obviously he had gotten into the Halloween costume box. I particularly love the side-burns! :)

And then of course Demi & Parker had to have a turn...

And for one last pic... let's just remember where this getup came from...

Aaahhhh... Good times. Good times. :)
