the 3 squintigos

I just came across this pic of Megan, Mallory and I at Mallory's graduation last April. I don't think I have ever seen a picture where we all look so much alike. And I am pretty sure it has to do with the squinting problem that we have going on. Too bad Carly is not in it. It would have been a cute pic of just the girls.

Happy Birthday Megan!

To Megan Ann Jellybean Boomer - one of the best sisters in the world... I hope you have a great birthday today! I love you and miss you! By the way... I chose this pic because it is one of my favorites! :)

Snatched from my sisters blog...

Ok. This is so hilarious! This is straight from my sister's blog. It is a pic of my brother-in-law, Clayton and my niece, Monet - and a copy of the caption that Megan had attached to it on her blog. Cracks me up! And so true Clay! ;)

Notice Clay's hairdo?........ So I'm like, "What's with your hair?" and he says, "What do you mean? I woke up this morning and thought it looked like the guy who plays the vampire. So I left it like that."

Cute. Ha ha. Clay thought he looked all sexy like Rob Pattinson. (And he did) :)

My Little Lefty

Carson loves art and everything he makes is for grandma. LOL. He is really into drawing eggs right now. I have no idea why, but it cracks me up. No pun intended. :)

You can see that all of the pics he is drawing in the video are 'egg' shaped, although I guess he decided to shake it up a bit and tell me they are something different this time. And he is getting really good at coloring in the lines.

You can also hear him talking about 'chocolate black'... well, he can not call brown, just plain ole' brown, without putting 'chocolate' in front of it. He just can not seperate it in his mind. And it makes sense. Chocolate is, in fact, brown! :) I don't know where the 'chocolate black' came in today though. Again - I guess he is just mixin' it up!

A Shout Out to my Brother!

I had to post a quick GOOD LUCK to my brother Jim who is taking the New York State Bar tomorrow and Wednesday. I know you will do great and all of your hard work will pay off! :) Now go and break a leg!

A couple of interesting little fun facts:

- the test is 6 hours each day. the first day focusing on New York law and the second focusing on all other states.

- he had to travel to Buffalo and stay in a hotel to take it. i think there are only 3 places in the state that give the test.

- they expect about 2 thousand to be taking it were Jim is, with a total of about 6 thousand taking it statewide.

- he can only bring a clear water bottle with him or a juice box.

- the bar is only administered 2 times a year.

- he will not find out the results of the test until November.

- he can't wear a hat. which he says he is concerned with because it has been a major part of his studying strategy! :)

A little info for Wilson family & friends...

A quick update about my mom and dad. They are moving into their new place on Thursday so they will have a new address. If any of you need their contact info, just give them a call or leave a comment w/ your email address and I will get it to you.

For those of you familiar w/ Provo - they are not moving far from their old place - they have bought a loft in the Riverwoods. If you know my mom, you know it is quite a change for them, but they are really excited. My mom has spent the last couple of months picking out all the renovations and planning the decorating. I am super excited to see it all done!! Hopefully we will be able to visit for Thanksgiving. :)

Below are 2 pics from before they bought it to give you an idea. The lofts are above store fronts. It will be a really fun change for them! I will have to post pictures of what they have done to the place as soon as I get some. :)

Awesome!

This picture is so great! It looks like an advertisement but it is my mom, dad and youngest sister Mallory. They went on a Segway tour in Southern California a few weeks ago. How fun!!!

You guys look like a bunch of dorks! LOL! But I'm still incredibly jealous! :)

Parker just said to me, "I thought only cops rode those things". :)
