Here is the family room. Check out the tv hutch. A Walmart special for $62! Can you believe it. Sorry you can't see the front of it. I guess I could have taken better pics! And the last picture in this group is what I like to call Robert's 'nerd corner'. Who needs 2 monitors!? :)
From family room to kitchen and vice-versa.
The kitchen. The first one is of our great rug buy!!! I had been looking all over for huge rugs since the whole bottom floor is tile. Of course they are hundreds of dollars each. Then we found these 2 (they are the same in the family room and under the kitchen table) at Walmart for $109 each!
My new dishes. I am sooo excited about them. I threw away my old ones when we moved so I would have to buy new ones. My old ones were all chipped. I loved these at Target, but was waiting to get them, then one day I went in and they were on clearance! I had to go to 4 Targets multiple times, but got all the dishes and some serving pieces and stuff! Yea!
Sorry. The office picture is not done yet. But at least you can get an idea... When I post the upstairs pictures, I will put a 'done' picture of the office for you.
This is the book shelf mom and I got from Ikea. We love Ikea! Mom is hooked now. She kept thinking of it how it used to be. More contemporary, cheap and scandanavian. But it has such neat stuff now!

Oh my gosh Hil! It is so beautiful and all your own!!!! I'm so excited for you guys. How fun. Really very pretty. As Mal said hopefully I will be able to see it in person soon. I also love the blue power ranger. Awesome.
