They all should be in our thougths and prayers...

There are 2 blogs that I have stumbled upon that I have read here and there over the last few months and today I found out that the author of one of them was in a terrible plane crash on Saturday with her husband and flight instructor. The flight instructor died from his injuries and the woman, Stephenie Nielson of the NieNie Dialogues, and her husband Christian are in serious condition with major burns over the majority of their bodies. Her sister Jane, of c jane enjoy it , has been updating their progress since the plane crash on Saturday. Whether you are a fan of their blogs or not - it is interesting and heartbreaking to follow their story and progress. I can't imagine going through something like this. They have 4 little kids at home who they were devoted to and have months of rehabilitation and surgeries ahead of them. And of course everyone should be praying for the family of the flight instructor who died. What a tragic accident for all involved. My heart goes out to all of them. And on another sad note - there was a local family from here in Houston who were in a plane crash over the last several days as well. Their plane went down in Colorado and went undiscovered until a hiker stumbled across the wreckage Sunday. The parents and their 2 small children were killed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the families involved in both of these tragic accidents. Click HERE to read the Houston Chronicle article about the Jacomini family.

Both stories are so, so sad. They had a story on the news last night about the one in AZ because Stephanie is originally from Provo.

What a reminder to me to live each day to the fullest and best I can....as if it is the last.....makes me remember to stop procrastinating!

Thanks for sharing, and they will be remembered in our prayers.

So sad and tragic! And crazy! I got home from Blanding and a few days later my dad sent me a text telling me of 3 Blanding men who had been killed in a plane crash. Two of the men are in their early to mid thirties and have small children. The other man has grown children and is in his late fifties. Quite a shock and loss to such a small town. The man that owned the plane, lost his dad about 8 years ago. Same thing, plane crash. The really ironic thing is, when his dad died, they had been out flying spotting out Elk to go hunting. This latest wreck, same thing. They had been out flying to spot out good hunting grounds. Anyway, good to remember all of these families in our prayers!!
