When you post this on your blog...A little over a month ago some good people from Nintendo came to my house and threw a Wii Fit party. My job was to gather up ten of my friends and prepare them to be humiliated by their Wii Fit age....you know you have arrived to the status of a truly professional mommy-blog author.
There are so many fascinating parts of this I don't even know where to begin, so I will just keep it simple... Isn't advertising interesting these days? There are so many different and clever ways to get people to buy your product. All it is - is just basic trickiness. And blogging seems to be at the forefront of this whole tricky advertising craze. The blogger above said that Nintendo did not pay her a dime. But they were obviously beating down her door to come to her house and have a Wii party for her and her friends. I don't know about you, but that seems pretty damn fun. That would be payment enough. Nintendo would do just about anything to have her blog about it. It is a goldmine for them! Her blog reaches so many people that I've heard that she makes over $40k a month in advertising. And this from a woman who is highly controversial and despised by many. I would love to know what she could accomplish if she was actually nice... Anyway, that is another story... But interesting - started a personal 'mommy' blog in 2oo1 and now she has Nintendo wanting to throw parties at her house. Where will the internet take us next?
