Vintage 4th of July (Part III)

I wonder two things about this last postcard. First, I wonder what happened to one of the flags on it. Why did the artist leave it off? So... cardcow.com... if you happen to see this post, can you let us know what your opinion is on this? :) And second - I wonder what our founding fathers would think of our country today? The fact that our country was once described using the words 'fadeless glory'... I know that many think that the USA's glory has faded. I however, still prefer to think of it as one of the greatest lands in the world. Even with all our problems. I am so thankful to live in America and to be able to partake of, and participate in, all of the blessings that come with our freedom! :)

On the last cards, the flags were actually little stickers stuck on the face of the card. One fell off sometime in the past hundred years...

Interesting....stickers. I thought maybe it was on purpose to represent the first 13 original colonies, since there are only 13 flags. God Bless America!!!
