Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

Carson has always been really good about going to bed. Lately though, he puts on a good show. Tonight on the way up the stairs he got louder and louder the closer we got to his room - shouting out things that he thought might keep him awake like, "Par-par kiss! Daddy kiss! Toy! Couch!" And then when we got to his room he pointed at his rocking chair and yelled desperately, "Twinkle, Twinkle!" Every thing he thought of and every step we got closer to the crib he yelled with more desperation. So we sat down in the rocking chair like we do every night and I started to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. He is really into taking turns lately, so he says, "No Carson turn!" and pats himself on the chest. He then starts to sing really quietly, but by the middle of the song I realize that he has changed the words up a bit... Here is how it went... "Twinkle twinkle star. Wonder are. Up sky... Blankie... Water... Doggie... Night..." - getting quieter and quieter as he went - then, right when I think he is about knocked out... "MOMMY'S TURN!"
