I had to squeeze a quick post in to satisfy my grandma. She is my number one fan and is going through Smith Family Update blog withdrawal... My mom is in town... my family knows what that means... lots of work! She is a work-a-holic/clean freak!! It benefits me GREATLY in the clean and organized house division - but it hinders me greatly in the blogging division! We have had fun shopping and eating out and getting Demi settled into school. And MY MOM has had fun cleaning and organizing!
My mom and dad came to town to bring Demi to live with us. As a quick re-cap - Demi is my niece that has lived with my parents since she was born. She has alot of special challenges and needs and since we all LOVE the schools here we thought it would be a great opportunity for her to come and live with us. So here is a little picture of Demi and I when she was a baby. So cute. Now she is a VERY TALL 9 year old! Time sure flies by! Oh to be young and skinny again!!
More posts to follow. If not in the next day or two, then Monday night at about 8pm. Exactly 2 hours after my mom's plane takes off! :)
(Just to prove my point... My mom just walked by me lickity-split and said real quick, "I am cleaning your bathroom now." And I said without looking over my shoulder, "Oh, great. Thanks." Even if I wanted to help. She wouldn't let me. She likes the satisfaction and joy of seeing a toilet come perfectly clean from all her elbow grease.) (And by the way... it's midnight... she is like the energizer bunny on speed.)

Where does Robin get her speed? I need some! I probably could loose 10 pounds if I stressed about my house like I use to. Instead I have a test to stress about. C-ya, aunt lori ps-chris is staying somewhere along side the highway. He got caught in a storm near Wichata Falls, he was going to stay in Dallas-anyway-change of plans. love n miss you guys!!

i can't wait to live out of the same state that mom does, but only becuase apperantly thats what you have to do if you want her to clean your house, buy your kids clothes, and furnish your home! he he he
but of course for every other reason i would still want to live by her...... :)
Hey girl!! I'm in your Ward but haven't seen you forever! I saw you on Julie's site. Anyways I had to tell you that you made a salad once at Melissa's for playgroup and I have been using that recipe like everyday (the one with the feta cheese, oil, red wine vinegar and Lawry's seasoning). I love it and you are awesome!!! Love your site!
Also I met Demi at Cadence's birthday party and she is so cute!
Your Mom can come to my house any time she pleases!!! She'd have a heart attack when she walked in though....lol. Miss you guys! I'd also like to say I am your 1111 visitor....how special!!
