Uuuurrrrggghhh!!

Why must pets be such a big pain in the butt!! It is now about 12 hours later and one is already dead, the jar I put them in is leaking water from some mysterious place and I can't keep Carson's mouth from touching the rim of the jar when he is trying to look at the fish with his nose 1/2 inch from the water. When I took the kids to Petco - I was standing there thinking 'we don't need ANOTHER fish - they are such a pain'. And then I thought how much the boys would like it. And I was right. Parker was up in the middle of the night getting a drink of water and I found him 10 minutes later downstairs sitting next to the fish. But all it is - is just one big pain in my arrss! Who would think that little, simple fish would be such a headache. And now I have an extremely sensitive Parker obsessed with his dead fish - yet again. It is funny also because that is why I stepped up to the ugly $1.99 'fancy' goldfish rather then the regular $.29 'feeder' goldfish. The guy assured me that they were so hardy and would live for so long... I guess this is a life lesson that must be learned over and over and over again! :)

Too too funny. Poor Parker has had to deal with so much animal death already at such a young tender age. Which one died? Squeaky or Hingey?

We got a fish from a birthday party and I thought it was a great idea for Drew. I changed the water once and it died so I feel your pain! :)
