A Surprise For Daddy

Look! A new pet for each of them for the bargain price of $3.98. They are sooo excited! Parker talks about getting a pet EVERY day. Usually a bird or dog. But he is so excited for his fish - so I thought it was a great compromise and will keep him company while you are away! And guess what their names are? You guessed it! Squeaky and Hingey! (That was his last 2 mice/mouses/mices' names that live in mouse heaven now!) What is the correct plural for mice anyway? Other then mice!?

I have to tell you the funniest story about a pet bird that happened today also. He wanted to get a bird off the side of the rode on the corner of 2920 & Kuykendahl. He just wanted to open the door of the car and pick it up 'real gently' and put it in a cage. I had to then spend the next 20 minutes explaining to him how 'wild' animals have germs and don't like to live in people's houses. And how they are dirty. He kept trying to bargain with me. For instance - it wouldn't be dirty or have germs if we picked it up after it had a bath in the water on the side of the rode... You get the idea. This went on and on and on...

(Oh, and Carson just keeps screaming "Nemo!" real loud over and over again while pointing at them.)
