Parker just finished his first chapter book. He is so proud of himself! I am so excited for him because a whole new world is opening up to him. A world of adventure and fun! It was so rewarding to know that he read a book and created the whole story in his mind. Like a little trip to fantasy land. His teacher gave it to him as a Christmas gift on Friday and he took it with him everywhere and read whenever he had a spare minute. I can't wait to see what he wants to read next!

i was just telling ryan that all my students that excell the most in school are avid readers! They always have huge chapter books with them! Parker is going to be a genius!
