After all, that is why we were there! To get the book and get our read on - asap! It was just a bonus that we had fun hangin' with the peeps! So what if we were the oldest people there - except for the parents with their kids. :) And then we saw this... Craziness - so we hunkered down and relaxed for the night. Anything without kids is fun and relaxing!

Then we got our wristbands all situated! Wonder Twin Powers - Activate! Tiffany went earlier in the morning to get them for us and it was great that she did. We were letter 'G' which meant that we would not have to be there for hours waiting for our turn to get our book. We were out pretty quick. (Notice that half of my ring is missing... :( That's another post...)

There were so many people there I couldn't believe it. The store had games to play and trivia and prizes. Every square inch was filled with people either sitting or standing. Tiffany and I had fun judging the 'prom' attire! Wow! There were some doozies! The girls below actually looked cute. In all seriousness though - I thought it was so interesting to see so many different types of people around. From every walk of life. Hispanic, Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern, Black. You had the nerds and the gangstas'. The rich and the poor. The moms with her daughters. It just was VERY interesting to me and made me get a little verklemp to realize what an impact Stephenie Meyer has had on the world. And I am not being dramatic. If you Google her fan sites you will see them literally all over the world! Honestly it is the thing that fascinates me most about this whole Twilight sensation. It is really quite amazing to think how one person can really make such an impact. I mean - don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's a Warren Buffet - I am just saying it is pretty interesting to see where she is now - when all she really thought in the beginning was that it would be really cool if she could just pay off her mini-van with the book.

12:40am we were out of there, book in hand!

Tiffany couldn't stand it and HAD to start reading as soon as she got in the car! ...or maybe I just made her pose like this so I could blog about it. Either way - we were WAY excited to start reading!
