What a fun time of year! It's been an eventful few days - but all-in-all good. Demi has been so darling and loves it... and... here is how it breaks down for Parker and his first days of Kindergarten...Day One - SO excited!
Day Two - sobbing in fetal position in bed while I am trying to wake him up because he is scared and will miss me. The teacher has to peel him off me when we get to his class.
Day Three - LOVES it again! Especially buying lunch and having delicious chocolate milk with it! :) It was steak finger day and I tried to convince him it was just like going to Dairy Queen and getting a kids meal. Apparently it worked!
Check out Parker's new backpack. He picked it because it had 'camo' on it and a huge spider! :) Demi picked Hannah Montana and loves it because it is a 'shoulder' bag. She is getting so mature!

Here we are on the long walk to the school. We had to park so far away because it was packed! :)

Down the Kindergarten hall... There are 4 classrooms. Parker's class has 17 kids in it. I know I have mentioned it before - but we have quite a history with Kuehnle and love it! It opened 19 years ago and my brother and sisters went there. We still know alot of the teachers and staff and it is so funny because the classroom directly across from Parkers's is the exact same Kindergarten class and teacher, Mrs. Beckering, that my youngest sister Mallory had just a short 15 years ago... and today one of Demi's teachers was one of my brother Jim's old teachers... So fun!

My sneaky, blurry picture of Parker sitting at his table...

My sneaky, blurry picture of Demi sitting at her desk...

Here is my mom and her best friend Sherron. This picture is so funny because 15 or so years ago they were super involved in Kuehnle's PTO and loved it! Now here they are again - roaming the halls. Sherron with her 2 youngest kids and my mom with a bundle of grandkids...

Glad to hear the 2nd day was just a "bump in the road"?! Hope he had a better morning today as well. He goes all day?! I swear, that will never happen in Utah. I don't know how Riley would've felt about that....she probably would've just gone with the flow. Nicole would've loved it. Jared would struggle. I think the 3 hours he's there is enough....he's a young 5...barely a month under his belt when school started.
Parker looks so nervous in all his pictures with his hands all folded and what not! Cute. Oh the good ole Kuehnle days. Some of the best years of my life. I would LOVE to go back and see all my teachers because I bet they are all still there!
