Yep. I'm a crazy. I knew that Stephenie Meyer was coming to Houston for her The Host book signing tour, but this morning I found out that she is coming to our Barnes & Noble. Champions Forest for those of you who know where that is. So I think it will be so fun to go to it. I am sure I will be one of those people that has to get in line SUPER early in the morning, possibly even the night before, to get my wristband. I am sure I will be surrounded by goth teenagers with 'I Love Edward' t-shirts on and I will just be a boring 36 year old sitting in a lawn chair working in my Franklin planner or reading People magazine. I'll probably have my iPod so maybe I won't look totally out of place. And I will wear black just to blend in a bit more. :) Anyway. I am pretty excited. I think it will be fun. Barnes & Noble is having it at Klein Forest High School, which is near the store, to accommodate the crowd. And one more funny thing, which was totally by accident... I was the first person at Barnes & Noble to reserve The Host. I just keep getting more embarrassing. I just happened to be at Barnes & Noble the night when they had just posted all the signs so I thought I would do it. It became this huge thing because I was the first one and they had to find the right person who knew how to do it. Then they called other employees over and had a little 'training' while asking me all my info. I really forget how unbelievable the whole Stephenie Meyer's thing is. The people that were helping me were telling me that these suburban housewives come in all the time and say, "I know this is silly, but my friend told me I have to read this book called Twilight. It's a youth reader..." And they just point the way to the display. It is really quite remarkable. I am so happy for Stephenie Meyer's success. Just a regular Mormon, BYU graduate mom of little kids whose life is ON FIRE now. Interesting.

By the way, your blog with the picture of you is sooooo darling. Leave it for a long time. I LOVE IT!
