Yep. It's Official.

Yep. It's official. We now have 'girly' toys in our house. Like I mentioned before, my niece Demi will be coming to live with us in about 2 weeks. It has become real now because this bad boy is sitting in our entry way. It is the ugliest AND coolest Barbie house I have ever seen! And now it resides with us! I guess it is time to get Parker a Ken to go with Demi's Barbie so he can play the brother/dad/uncle/cousin in the doll playing that will soon be taking place!

** By the way. What is it with toys these days. They are so complex! Robert walked in the door, took one look at the box and said, "Not it!" So - it was up to me! It took me over 2 hours to put together the other night. Of course Carson was trying to climb in it the whole time. That couldn't have helped. It was ridiculous. I was on the floor of my office, styrofoam pieces stuck all over me and my hair, 6 poster size sheets of directions laying about like I was performing brain surgery. It's crazy. And it is the same way just getting a nice little dump truck out of the packaging for a 2 year old! Good times! Good times!

** And, by the way again... Speaking of the Ken thing. My sister-in-law and I were out shopping at Walmart at midnight again, like we do, looking for Easter basket stuff. So we had to check out the Ken dolls. Why can't they make just a nice and normal outfit for him? Just some jeans, a cool t-shirt and maybe some Vans. Why MUST he always look like the gayest guy on the planet? And don't get me wrong - it is ok if he is gay. But can't they just dress him cool and at least give him a chance at being straight.
