Viva Las Vegas!

OK. It's official. Robert has accepted a job opportunity that is going to take him to Las Vegas at the end of next week. We have been thinking about this for a couple of months now and until last week it was a move to Seattle - but now the location has switched to Las Vegas and we are really excited for the new doors that it may open. He will be working with Clayton (my sister Megan's husband) so it will be alot of fun and he is really excited! It is of course an anxiety-ridden time to make a move again. That is why the boys and I will stay here until things get settled and we know for sure it is what we want to do. I keep saying 90 days - but now that it is real, I am already sad and he is not even gone yet. SO - you never know, we may be gone with him in 2 weeks... I HATE the thought of leaving our beautiful house and our friends and Robert's family - so I am just avoiding the issue for now. Who knows, maybe Robert will just come home to us every-other week! ALTHOUGH, Megan called me earlier today and told me that she bought Robert a ticket for a show... APPARENTLY, my parents and Mallory are going to Vegas for Monet's birthday and they are all going to see Cirque du Soleil's Mystere at Treasure Island. The party has already started and he isn't even there yet!! ...Little Monet's Old McDonald had a Farm birthday and now a show on the strip! I am jealous!

The best part of this entry is that you said we are going to see Liz Pair, no Hil, Mystere!!!! Ha ha!!!! The Cirq de Sole show Mystere! Not the singer Liz Phair! I'm sure Robert was excied about that.

woa woa woa...so let me get this right. Are you guys moving to Las Vegas or is this a temporary thing? Either way this will be a huge change for your family. I hate and love making big decisions like that. Good luck. It is nice that you have family there.
